The Meeteetse Museum District collects, preserves, and interprets Meeteetse's heritage for our community and visitors. We highlight our past while striving to be a good citizen of today's Meeteetse community.

The Meeteetse Museum Foundation is a 501(c)(3) (Tax ID: 20-3620285) that was created to help promote and support the Meeteetse Museums. Although we receive operational support through a fluctuating 1% mill levy and grants, the Museums depend on the contributions of individuals like yourself. In fact, individual giving and membership revenue are the largest source of funding for museums around the world.

Your memberships, pledges, and generous contributions will considerably offset staffing and operations expenses as well as provide necessary funding for:

• collections care,
• research and publications,
• educational opportunities,
• quality programming,
• and new exhibits.
